Last fall, when I was asked to photograph the Torrance Centennial celebration from the air, I got to ride in a helicopter with no door at sunset. This is a shot I grabbed as we flew over Redondo Beach as the sun was setting. Just last week, the woman that hired me to take the trip honored me with a request of this shot so she could print a canvas and hang it on her wall.
